It’s Still OK to Make Eye Contact During a Pandemic (video)

An update and message of love from yours truly

It’s a time that has most of us practicing physical distancing to prevent the spread of a microscopic and dangerous foe – a coronavirus called COVID-19.

It’s taking a toll on many of us financially, emotionally, and physically.

They refer to self-isolating as “social distancing” in the “news”, but that’s an inaccurate and misleading label. I think we’re being more social than ever! And it’s a beautiful thing that we have all these options to remain in touch, if only online for now.

It breaks my heart that so many are suffering because of the pandemic. And it also fills my heart and spirit with gratitude, hope, and optimism, as I continue to learn of people finding ways to help one another through these trying times.

Please take a moment to share how the pandemic has affected you and those you love. Please also chime in with any acts of humanity (helping communities) you’re participating in or aware of in your area.

Please stay safe.
Stay healthy.
Stay beautiful (authentic = beautiful)
Most of all, please just stay <3

    1. Thanks for chiming in, Bobbi. I feel so powerless to help those who’ve lost loved ones, and/or lost their means of income. I see people finding ways to help out though, and it lifts my spirits. We’re all in this together, and it only makes sense that we be there for one another, in whatever ways we can. <3

  2. Yes, these times can be difficult to cope with, but even though the media has changed, it will always be possible to connect with our loved ones. Fortunately the situation is already becoming much more bearable in many places, I hope this whole pandemic thing will be over soon. Thanks for being there.

    1. Thank you for chiming in, Naty! I think the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter each day and I’m grateful to see more and more people return to regular life, socializing, gathering, and enjoying live and in-person face time. Here’s to the continued healing process as we all start to return to a life with more freedom, companionship, and social options, and no more isolation! <3
