The Battle Scars of Crossdressing

Homer Simpson mowing the lawn in a dress

While examining my face closely in the mirror last night, I took a good look at all my new scars. They weren’t there a year ago, but now I have several of them scattered about. Some are more noticeable than others but they all stand out like a sore thumb to me. What caused these battle scars and why the picture of Homer Simpson mowing his lawn in Marge’s Sunday dress?

“One of Your Faggot Friends”

"That's a dude, ain't he?"

Earlier this week while I was at work, “Edmund” (not his real name) stopped by to visit my wife. I know Edmund fairly well. We didn’t always get along, but as he grew up and matured, things lightened up between us. He’s really not a bad guy, but he offered a little reminder and rather cold dose of reality before his visit was through.

“Thank You For Coming Out to Me”

kissing wife on head

When I arrived home from work the other day, my wife was peaking out of the door smiling at me as I parked the car. I greeted her with a hug and kiss. She gave me a big smile and said, “Thank you for coming out to me.” It made me happy to hear, although I was a bit surprised she brought it up out of the blue.

Return of the Crossdressing Gamer

Gabrielle in Resident Evil: the Umbrelle Chronicles

What happens when a t-girl does battle with the T-Virus in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles? Unfortunately, this t-girl gets reminded that she needs a bit more target practice. Zombies and other mutated creatures have been getting the best of me, but not before I take a bunch of them out with my black nail polished trigger-happy finger of punishment!

Thank You For Noticing I’m Normal

the "normal" Cleaver family eating their "normal" dinner

What exactly is normal? Being a crossdresser, most of society would consider me to be anything but normal. Sadly, that assessment is entirely based on my preferred choice of outward appearance. Compared to the Cleaver family of 1950’s sitcom “everyday normal family” fame, do I really look so terrible?

We live in a society that preaches “don’t judge a book by its cover” and tells us diversity is a good thing, but there are widely accepted limits to both. I’m not sure exactly where the line is drawn, but it falls well short of accepting someone like me as “normal”.

Happy Independence Day 2009

Super Mario Brothers Independence Day 2009

It’s July 4, 2009: A celebration of Independence Day for my fellow Americans and I. If you live outside the USA, it may not be Independence Day, but that’s no reason why you can’t still celebrate a beautiful 4th of July Saturday anyway. Celebrate life and have some fun just because. :)

Whereas most websites might display the American flag along with the traditional pictures of fireworks, I’ve decided to take a unique approach with the visuals. I’m a member of the original generation of gamers. Why not serve up the holiday imagery with style using old school bits and bytes of gaming coolness?
