The Greatest American Hero Cast

Do you remember this show from the early 80’s? Quirky school teacher, Ralph Hinkley (William Katt), and down-and-out FBI agent Bill Maxwell (Robert Culp), are thrust into an odd crime-fighting partnership after being approached by an alien spaceship in the desert. Ralph is given a “super suit” (aka, the “red jammies”) by the aliens and told to work together with Bill and make the world a better place. Ralph looses the suit’s instructional manual out in the desert. The result is a reluctant and unlikely super hero, complete with super hero powers… who has some serious trouble using them – especially when flying.

This is going to be a pretty senseless post, but it’s not my fault. I blame it on the lack of sleep and amount of caffeine currently in my system.

Sleepless nights really stink, don’t they? We all get them. It’s time to go to bed and there’s just too much running around in the head. I ended up getting maybe an hour or so of sleep in the wee hours of the morning, just before having to wake up to the annoying alarm clock, do my morning work-out (which is oh so fun after having not slept) and get ready for work, etc.

Why exactly is crossdressing such a great stress reliever? I often hear this question posed by other crossdressers. Most seem to agree that it is very relaxing and stress relieving, but many seem confused as to why it works for them. Does it really matter why?

Passing of an Eight Legged Admirer

Not long ago I did a write up about a little spider that decided to take a ride on my knee while I was exercising. After completing my daily trek on the treadmill yesterday, I noticed the little fella had returned. It was sitting on my exercise mat almost exactly where it had dropped down on me before. Not wanting it to get accidentally stepped on, I carefully blew it aside to the corner.

This morning, I found the spider right back on my exercise mat in the same spot. Upon closer examination, I noticed that it was rather dead. Not squashed or anything, just dead.

“Life on Mars” Series Finale

Life on Mars

If you’ve been following the show like I have, you know the deal. Detective Sam Tyler gets hit by a car in 2008 and is knocked out. He wakes up to find himself somehow stuck in 1973, working for the 125 (precinct) while trying to figure out how he ended up in the past and how to get home to 2008.

If you’ve never seen the show, it was a really cool mix of sci-fi, 70’s cop show, and detective mystery, laced with humor and loaded with style. It featured an amazing cast of actors and well written story lines. Sadly, it lasted but a single season and just ended this past Wednesday.

Babe of the Week

Babe of the Week – Phyllis

PhyllisIt may be April 1st, but this is no joke. When you take a look at Phyllis, the word “babe” comes to mind and for good reason. Not only is she a hottie with amazing legs, she’s got style, a playful spirit, and a beauty that the camera captures very nicely as seen in her flickr photos.

Phyllis is an eye-catching t-girl living in California. She enjoys a variety of activities including hiking, gardening, making spicy pizzas from fresh dough, oil painting, and listening to awesome pop and classical music to name a few.

Currently in a serious relationship, she’s a straight male to female crossdresser with a fun sense of humor. Her motto is “celebrate feminity forever” and if her pictures are any indication, she does this with passion and an obvious love of life.

Phyllis shared with us that she was a member of a rock band years ago. She’s still making music and plays the guitar, piano and synthesizer.

Of course, Phyllis isn’t just about good looks and pretty pictures. Like many of us in the transgendered community, she grew up having to hide her feminine side from the world in order to fit into a society that is generally unnaccepting of differences in people.
